I read it for the first time. This book is about selfish Shen, a hungry beggar, a kind woman, some yummy pears and magic. Shen lived in a small house but he had a gig garden. There was a tree, the tree grew the golden pears. He thougt that solt them at market. And he makes a lot of money by the pears.He went to the market with a box of many pears. he sells it, then a beggar came and said "Please may Ihave a pear?" But Shen did not sell it because the beggar did not have money to buy it. Then a kind woman looked at the sean. So the woman bought it for thebeggar. And she gave the beggar it. He ate the pear soon. The geggar turn to give Shen a pear to use magic. the beggar buried in a hole a seed of pear. He poured hot tee in the hole. Then the seed began to grow. The seed grew and grew. The seed became a pear tree. So the beggar gave Shen one pear. And everyone ate it. Then everyone did not watch the beggar, he disappear at here. Actually, the pear was Shen's pear.
